ANTI BRIBERY AND CORRUPTION POLICY<\/span><\/h1>

Anti-Bribery & Corruption Policy<\/span><\/h2>[\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1\/4″][vc_single_image image=”25339″][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”3\/4″][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

Highbase Strategic Sdn Bhd (HIGHBASE)<\/strong> is committed to conducting business dealings with integrity. This means avoiding practices of bribery and corruption in all forms of the Company\u2019s daily operations. HIGHBASE<\/strong> has adopted a zero-tolerance approach<\/u><\/strong> against all forms of bribery and corruption and takes a strong stance against such acts.<\/p>\n

Salient terms of the applied policy are as follows:<\/p>\n

a) HIGHBASE<\/strong> does not tolerate any forms of bribery and corruption. In line with this commitment, HIGHBASE<\/strong> has developed an Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

b) The Policy is applicable to:<\/p>\n

\u2022 Directors;
\n\u2022 Employees;
\n\u2022 Interns; and
\n\u2022 Third parties<\/p>\n

c) Bribery is defined as any action which would be considered as an offence of giving or receiving gratification<\/strong>. In practice, this means offering, giving, receiving or soliciting something of value in an attempt to illicitly influence the decisions or actions of a person a position of trust within an organization.<\/p>\n

d) HIGHBASE<\/strong> strictly prohibits Employees from soliciting corporate hospitality and entertainment nor are they allowed to accept hospitality and entertainment that is excessive, inappropriate and deemed illegal.<\/p>\n

e) Employees who are found to have assisted or facilitated the violation of this MACC S17A Policy, whether actively or by way of negligence or omission, will also be deemed to have violated the ABC Policy and committed a misconduct. Possible actions thereof include (but not limited to):<\/p>\n

i. Dismissal
\nii. Legal action
\niii. HIGHBASE<\/strong> filing a police report
\niv. HIGHBASE<\/strong> filing a report to MACC<\/p>\n
