SUBSTANCE MISUSE POLICY

HIGHBASE STRATEGIC SDN BHD recognizes that substance abuse in the work place will affect the health, safety productivity of our employees. Therefore, substance abuse is strictly prohibited for our employees, our contractors, and suppliers to consume, be in possession of, or be under the influence of substance whilst in any facilities, project sites, restricted area and at our premises.

We take exception to this prohibition only for medical drugs which have been prescribed by a registered Medical Practitioner, specifically for private and personalized treatment with prior approval from our Top Management and subject to doctor’s prescription for such medication must be produced on demand.

Any employee, contractor and supplier who violates this substance Policy in any manner, test positive for substance or interferes with the substance testing process will be subject to immediate removal from the job including dismissal without notice from our employment and/or engagement.
